Nicholson Engineering has a history that dates back almost one hundred years in Bluff, and as such, the name has a long history of association with one of Bluff’s oldest industries – Oysters.

Nicholson Engineering manufacture and service commercial dredges, along with recreational dredges. With recreational dredges Nicholson Engineering can make the dredge to clients’ requirements, ranging in size from 600mm to 1m, in either stainless steel or mild steel, with either a net bag or ring bag.

Nicholson Engineering also manufactures and overhauls oyster blocks, which can be certified upon request.

Nicholson Engineering also manufactures and services oyster winches.
